Digital advertising for women's clothing store.

Village Green is a women’s clothing, accessories and giftware store based in Khandallah, Wellington. Many of their sales come from in-store visits but they also sell online and wanted to grow online sales throughout the various lockdowns across 2020 and 2021.

The main strategy to achieve more sales was increasing web traffic with Google Search Ads. The owner had worked with a third party running ads in the past which hadn't produced the desired results.

Google Ads

Our Google Search ads show up for searches for women's clothing and product specific searches such as jumpers, dresses etc.

A key success was running ads for popular women’s clothing brands that Village Green stock. These performed well and helped reach people who knew what they were looking for and were exploring local places to purchase from.

Our ads targeted all of New Zealand with bid adjustments so the ads showed up more often in Wellington, also benefiting in-store visits and sales.

Facebook Ads

To promote short-term sales and attract for local customers we added Facebook Ads to the mix. There were previous attempts at Boosting posts, however I transitioned to using Facebook Ads manager with a mix of Reach and Traffic ad objectives for more control and transparency around results.

These were targeted to the demographics most likely to buy from Village Green, targeting Khandallah and the surrounding area to reach those who were most likely to visit the store in person and who may have made a purchase in the past, encouraging them to visit again.
